About Darrell Simms
Darrell Simms is a hip-hop artist and rapper currently based in Los Angeles. Born in Florida and raised by his Jamaican mother and Danish stepfather, Darrell moved with his family to the southern part of Sweden when he was 10. It was at that age that young Darrell discovered music through his mother's CD collection; Michael Jackson's "History/Past/Present" album gave him his first taste of music and hooked him into exploring further, including musicians such as Gorillaz, George Michael, and Outkast. Poetry was the first creative outlet Darrell expressed himself in, which quickly led him to hip-hop lyrics, inspired by Lil Wayne's "Gossip." Follow Darrell on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter or subscribe to his YouTube Channel for new releases. Darrell's previous releases can be found on his Soundcloud page.
