Eric Sherman is a producer, author, writer and director. Mr. Sherman is one of the most unique and influential people in the American film industry. He carries the legacy of his father, Vincent Sherman, who directed various legends of the silver screen such as Humphrey Bogart, Clark Gable, Richard Burton, Bette Davis and Ava Gardner among others.

Mr. Sherman opened up his residence in this exclusive interview about his experience working with film industry icons like Orson Welles and Francis Ford Coppola.  He also spoke about producing the documentary series "Futures with Jaime Escalante." (Jaime Escalante was the LA high school math teacher whose life was portrayed by actor Edward James Olmos in the film ‘Stand and Deliver’ by Warner Bros.) For his amazing work on this series, Mr. Sherman was bestowed the prestigious Peabody Award.

Eric Sherman has been involved with the film industry nearly his entire life. Born in Los Angeles, he graduated from Yale University.  After starting out as a mathematics major and co-founded the Yale Film Society. He opened the film department at the Pasadena Art Center College of Design and has had over seven thousand students including Michael Bay (Bad Boys, Pain and Gain, Armageddon, Transformers, 13 Hours) and Zack Snyder (Man of Steel, Watchmen, 300, Wonder Woman, Justice League). Mr. Sherman has directed and produced hundreds of feature films, documentaries, and television series. He is an expert legal witness in entertainment and intellectual property law.
