North American Van Lines, Inc., one of the world’s largest moving companies announced the launch of a Facebook Fan photo contest that will award $1,000 cash to the fan who submits the most patriotic photo just in time for the 4th of July holiday.
The competition on Facebook called the “Patriotic Photo Contest,” allows any Facebook fan to post their best patriotic photo between now and July 4th. Once posted, all fanpage fans will be able to vote for on their favorite photo or photos once a day. The photos that receive the most votes will be considered for the $1,000 grand prize. Second place will receive a $250 Restaurant.com Gift Certificate and third place will receive a $100 Restaurant.com Gift Certificate.
“America is made up of millions of patriotic and passionate people who wear their red, white and blue proudly, especially at this time of the year,” said Dan Robertson, general manager of North American Van Lines. “This promotion celebrates and rewards that patriotism and who better to be a part of it than a company with America in its name and red, white and blue as its colors.”
Voting takes place solely on Facebook between June 14 and 11:59 EST on July 4th. Consumers must become a fan of the North American Van Lines page in order to submit a photo and to vote. Individuals with a valid Facebook account can vote once a day on their favorite photo or photos throughout the campaign. Winners will be announced on July 6, 2011.
