Apex-Brasil and ABVCAP Host Venture Capital Panel To Discuss Investment Trends in Brazil

Brings 17 Leading Investors Together for Venture Capital inBrazil Forum

Sep. 6, 2016 / PRZen / SAN FRANCISCO -- The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), in partnership with the Brazilian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (ABVCAP), is hosting a forum with Venture Capitalists to discuss investment trends and opportunities in Brazil. The 'Venture Capital inBrazil Forum' will be held at the Rosewood Sand Hill hotel in Menlo Park, on September 15th, and is open to all accredited investors and fund managers.

The Venture Capital inBrazil Forum is part of Brasil Week SV, a week-long series of events coordinated by Apex-Brasil and designed to showcase Brazilian tech startups and foreign direct investment opportunities.

Now in its fourth year, the Venture Capital inBrazil Forum gives US investors an understanding of the trends affecting investments in Brazil, and a chance to meet fellow investors and discuss common themes. Confirmed speakers include Microsoft Ventures, Kaszek Ventures, Riverwood Capital, Performa Investimentos, Redpoint e.ventures, Qualcomm Ventures, M3 Investments, DGF Investimentos, W7, Bancoldex, Emergence Capital, DCM Ventures, as well as economists and professors from Stanford University, UC Berkeley, Silicon Valley Bank, and others.
