SecureRF Establishes Presence in Silicon Valley

West Coast Regional Office to Develop and Deliver Security Solutions in Support of Existing and Future Semiconductor Partnerships

Dec. 15, 2015 / PRZen / MORGAN HILL, Calif. -- In response to the growth of their customer base in the semiconductor, software and systems communities, SecureRF, a leading provider of security solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT), announced today the opening of their new office in Morgan Hill, CA. The West Coast office will be led by seasoned integrated circuit veteran and newly appointed Chief Operating Officer, Mike McGregor. McGregor brings over 30 years of integrated circuit design and development experience covering a large section of the digital design arena, especially in the areas of cryptography, communications and digital signal processing.

Their strategic expansion into this global technology hub reinforces SecureRF’s commitment to supporting the communities in which it operates and allows the company to provide more efficient and direct service to clients.

With security and privacy becoming vital factors for market adoption, SecureRF can now more effectively serve IoT solutions providers while also promoting innovation and productivity. Silicon Valley is a natural fit for SecureRF’s offerings such as the Algebraic Eraser™, the first linear-in-time Public Key Cryptography core that offers increased performance while requiring less power and a smaller footprint than other current commercially available security. The Algebraic Eraser delivers authentication and data protection solutions for low-resource devices without altering the standard platforms currently in use.

According to Louis Parks, CEO for SecureRF, “Strengthening our executive team and establishing a local presence in a technology-rich environment enables us to be highly responsive to our customers.” Parks continues, “The applications of the Algebraic Eraser core technology deliver significant performance advantages and by collaborating with FPGA and SOC design firms, we can support the development of secure global solutions for the Internet and Industrial Internet of Things.”

Mike McGregor adds, “We are excited to form alliances with silicon manufacturers, foundries, and hardware firms to bring our security and anti-counterfeiting products to market.”
