Intox-Detox, Sailfish Brewing Co. Make Beer History with "A Better Tomorrow Wit" Beer Launch

This press release was orginally distributed by SBWire

Port St. Lucie, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/14/2015 -- Intox-Detox recently partnered with Sailfish Brewing Company, Inc. to launch "A Better Tomorrow Wit" – the world's first craft beer with all-natural ingredients to protect the liver while you drink and help avoid the misery of the day after a night out drinking alcohol.

Co-sponsored by Treasures of Ft. Pierce and Anchor Boards, the event took place at the Sailfish brewery in Fort Pierce, Florida on Friday July 10th. There was live music, fresh craft samples and fun activities like beer pong and Bag-O (bean bag toss).

According to Intox-Detox Founder/CEO Andy Bennett, "It was a great time. Local people and local companies getting together to enjoy the best local craft beer. We were amazed at how great the Better Tomorrow Wit beer actually tasted. Not to mention the fact that it really worked!"

Mr. Bennett started Intox-Detox as an all-natural dietary supplement with first-to-market ingredients, proven in human clinical studies to boost the liver's detoxification ability. With their combination of "Traditional Chinese Medicine" and the "latest ground-breaking dietary supplementation science", they claim Intox-Detox both protects the liver from damage and helps with the negative after effects of alcohol consumption.

As to how they came up with the Better Tomorrow Wit, Bennett goes on to say:

"With Intox-Detox, we knew we had an amazing product because after 15,000 samples distributed at events all across the country, everyone loved the product. Still, it has always been my dream to partner with a craft beer brewery that thinks outside-of-the-can so to speak. I met Al Beltran from Sailfish when we sponsored the Treasure Coast Beer Fest last year. The guy is just passionate about making great beer with high-quality ingredients. Right away I realized that he was the guy who could make this happen. So, we put the Intox-Detox ingredients right into the beer. No pills, you just drink the beer. And the Better Tomorrow Wit was born!"

Better Tomorrow Wit is a wheat beer based on the popular White Marlin Wit, which is frequently on tap at the Sailfish brew pub. Beltran and Bennett worked together to add the appropriate amounts of Japanese raisin, Green tea and Panax ginseng – three of the ingredients in the original Intox-Detox product. Anecdotal reports from the morning after seemed to indicate that it worked. According to Sailfish employee Caitlin Carmichael, "Quite a few people have come back and said that they felt fine the next day. And everyone seems to love the taste too."

According to Bennett, Intox-Detox is trying to do "big things" - "We sponsored the Nascar Sprint Cup Series #32 Go Green Racing Team for the whole season and we partnered with Club La Vela at Spring Break. We're not even a year old, but it's already been an exciting ride. Just wait till you see what we're going to do next!" Pressed for an explanation, Bennett reveals that they have new products in development, including an Intox-Detox energy drink and liquid energy shooter, as well as experimenting with more forays into craft beer, wine and even spirits.
