Maryland Faerie Festival Announces the 11th Annual Celebration of the Maryland Faerie Festival

Celebrate Neverland with the Faeries at a Faerie Music and Arts Festival!

Jun. 10, 2015 / PRZen / DARLINGTON, Md. -- The Maryland Faerie Festival is pleased to announce the 11th Annual Maryland Faerie Festival on June 13th & 14th, 2015 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. The celebration is in Darlington at beautiful Camp Ramblewood, at 2564 Silver Rd. 21034.

Each year thousands of people come together, to celebrate the faeries and enjoy pageantry, magic, music, and mischief. The Festival provides an atmosphere and entertainment inspired by Faerie folklore and literature, and, of course, by the Faeries themselves.

“This year we are celebrating Neverland! You can meet Peter Pan and take the Lost Boys and Girls Pledge to become an Official Member of the Gang,” said Holly Budd, Board Representative, “Keep your eyes open for pirates, and mermaids too. How did they all end up in Darlington? Where’s Tink?”

There is a great line up of live entertainment including Frenchy and the Punk, Telesma, CuDubh, Wendy Rule, and Ginger Doss.

Family-friendly activities include Goblin Tea Parties, Storytellers, Pirate Camp, Petting Zoo, Mermaids, Food, Fine Arts & Handcraft, Games, Kid's Crafts, and even a Unicorn!

For those who don’t want to miss a moment of the magic, the Faerie Ring Camping Experience allows for a complete escape into the magical and fantastical world of the Fae. The Goblins and the night-time Fae continue the fun even after the sun goes down, with fire performers and drumming on Friday Night and the SummerFest Faerie Ball on Saturday night!

The Maryland Faerie Festival offers multiple options and package deals for attendance, including Day Tickets, Weekend Passes, tickets to only the evening activities, and The Faerie Ring Camping Experience All-Access Weekend Pass. Discounts are also given to day visitors who come in costume.

Maryland Faeries promote the stewardship of nature, outdoor education, and sponsor faerie artists, merchants and entertainment. As a 501c-3 nonprofit organization, the Maryland Faerie Festival provides educational and outreach opportunities for groups whose mission also encourages love, cooperation, peace, harmony and respect for all beings.
