Kaminario CEO Dani Golan Selected as Finalist for Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 Awards

NEWTON, MA--(Marketwired - May 28, 2015) - Kaminario, the leading all-flash array storage provider for midrange enterprises, today announced that CEO Dani Golan has been selected as a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 Awards in the New England region. The coveted award recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence in areas including innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. The nominees were selected by a panel of independent judges, and winners will be announced at a gala on June 4, 2015 at the Boston Marriott Copley Place.

"It's a tremendous honor to be named a finalist among such impressive company. I have a lot of admiration for the work that all of my fellow nominees have accomplished and am humbled to be named alongside them," said Dani Golan. "Kaminario's success is the result of strong vision, a solid understanding of customer pain points and superb execution to deliver the most cost-effective, scalable and flexible storage solution to businesses in need. I share this nomination with my entire team."

Golan founded Kaminario with the vision of making all-flash storage the future of modern data centers. Data puts heavy demands on IT departments and traditional legacy storage systems are ineffective, inefficient and unable to support business SLAs and growth. Golan's vision and direction has helped Kaminario deliver the most advanced, scalable and cost-efficient all-flash storage array on the market. Under Golan's leadership, Kaminario:

  • Received $143 million in venture capital to date, including $68M in December 2014;
  • Recently launched the ACCELERATE partner program;
  • Was named a visionary in Gartner's 2014 first annual Magic Quadrant for Solid-State Arrays;
  • Maintained strong business momentum with more than 300% year-over-year growth in bookings for Q1 2015;
  • And increased headcount by 25% quarter-over-quarter since launching its latest K2 product last summer.

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards program, now in its 29th year, has expanded to recognize business leaders in more than 145 cities and in more than 60 countries throughout the world. The winner of the New England region will go on to compete in the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year National Program Awards.
