Covering everything from advertising and branding to visual design and web content, the IABC Dallas Quill Awards celebrates the art of business communication in all its forms. The annual program recognizes the exceptional efforts of the Metroplex's communicators by highlighting best practices in business communications, management skills, thought leadership and creativity.

Featured speaker Katherine Wagner, CEO of the Business Council for the Arts, set the tone for the evening by sharing her unique perspective that merges cultural arts with the corporate world. Communicators are the artists of the business world, she explained, using their imagination and resourcefulness to reveal nuances and subtleties among the hard facts, figures and ROI.

The evening was capped off with the surprise presentation of the Pegasus Award to Stacy Hollowell, ABC, for her outstanding volunteer contributions. As the chapter's vice president of programs, Stacy organizes monthly luncheons with expert speakers, top-notch networking opportunities, and strong professional development at the fall communications conference.

Each Dallas Quill Award entry was critiqued separately by two judges from IABC chapters in Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Houston and Tulsa.
