SEATTLE -- Sep. 21, 2014 -- PRZen -- On a ride on the Great Wheel on the Seattle waterfront Wednesday, surrounded by her friends, ( TwelVa decided she really wanted a voice so she could cheer with other members of the 12! So a contest was created by her own ‘Legion of Boom’ to find the Voice of TwelVa. She will be at the South gate entrance to CenturyLink Field to take entries for the contest on game day Sunday, September 21st, between 11am and 1pm. Just look for the sign and a beautiful green mannequin, you can’t miss TwelVa! She hopes people will come and have pictures taken with her too! She is very still, so having pictures that blur will be at a minimum. An event will be following, after TwelVa’s gang puts together a panel of celebrity judges that will decide who the Voice of TwelVa will be!

The hosts of Evening Magazine here in Seattle have been invited to join the panel. They will be asking members of the 12, as well as Seahawks players and reporter Jen Mueller—will also be asked. The chosen winner who will be the official voice of TwelVa will win the opportunity to choose which one of the 12’s chosen charities will receive 100% of the entry fees to the event which will be $20.00pp. The contestants will get in free. The event, to be announced, will be on a Saturday. The date and time will be announced and it will be held at Seattle Store Fixtures in the SoDo, a dba of Portland Store Fixtures.

TwelVa’s owners, Kat Schon and Penney Stephenson will be opening their store, (a large warehouse) Seattle Store Fixtures in the SoDo, for the event. “We opened our doors June 14th and the store is already doing well. We are also open to the general public, and feel honored that we are in a space to be able to host such a large event,” says Kat Schon. “We have a huge space, with 5,000 square feet to play in with the 12; we want to show our devotion and our interest in the community in having this fun event to benefit one of the 12’s charities,” says Penney Stephenson. "We have a great location at 3663 1st Avenue South in the SoDo, just south of the West Seattle Bridge. We feel blessed to have received a warm welcome here in Seattle. We want to spread the love,” says Kat Schon.

At a Meetup downtown (Seattle Marketing Analytics Group) on Tuesday, a presentation was given called, “Understanding the Creature Known as the 12th Man” by Justin Mitchell, Marketing Analysis and Fan Insights Manager for the Seattle Seahawks. He informed the group that 64% of the population of Seattle are avid fans of the Hawks.  “We hope with numbers like this, we will be able to raise great interest in TwelVa, and the creative fun that goes into a PR campaign like this," says Penney Stephsenson. The event is about raising money for one of the chairities The 12th Man supports, and the winner of the Voice of TwelVa will choose.
