LOS ANGELES, Sept. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- A new way to wear your emotions is about to hit the market via an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign. This campaign, which launched on August 13th, is crowdfunding for $100,000 in order to bring their new invention 'CHEMION' to market. CHEMION are glasses that the user wears to literally express what they are thinking or feeling. By pre-programming your glasses, or linking them to your smartphone, "CHEMION enables you to present your feelings through a message, image, or animation." They derived the name "CHEMION" by combining the words "chemistry" and "on" because emotions are simply the "chemistry of the heart".

According to creators of CHEMION, "the idea started from the question 'How can I make people focus on me?'."  This led them to invent a new way to truly wear your emotions and express yourself in a new and exciting way. You can show your support for your favorite team at a sporting event. You can let that person you have been eyeing at a club know that you are interested through the images or animations you draw, or the message you type. You can even display an equalizer image which is linked to the music in your environment through a microphone in the glasses. It doesn't matter if you want to display messages, images or even fun animations; the possibilities are endless with CHEMION.

Currently, CHEMION come in black with basic white LED displays. However, the company is open to suggestions and looking at introducing more colors for both the CHEMION skin and LED display colors. While the glasses look very dark, they are completely transparent for the wearer, much like a one-way window. That means you will still be able to see everything around you very clearly, similar to wearing dark sunglasses. According to the inventor, neither the color of the glasses nor the display itself will hinder the user's vision.

In the hopes of reaching their funding goal by the end of their campaign on October 12th,  the CHEMION campaign is offering several perks to their supporters. These perks, which serve as funding incentives, range in value based upon the amount of the contribution. The smallest funding amount will get you a basic "thank you" while the larger amounts can earn the supporter a CHEMION t-shirt, various pre-purchase levels, distributor packages, and even the chance to get a limited edition pair of CHEMION glasses decorated to your very own specifications. If all goes well with their campaign, the company is planning on shipping their first order of CHEMION glasses in February 2015. The company has also decided that if the funding reaches $1,000,000, they will donate to the association of people with lalopathy and take step toward breaking down the communication barriers. Full details can be found on their Indiegogo campaign page.
