Bristol Brewing Co. Releases Brewhouse Series Imperial IPA

>PRWEB.COM Newswire

Colorado Springs, Colo. (PRWEB) May 13, 2014

Bristol Brewing Company, known for brewing distinctive, award-winning beers for the people of Colorado, announces the release of its Imperial IPA on Thursday, May 15. Bristol's Imperial IPA is one of seven beers in the Brewhouse Series, and is Compass IPA's stronger, hoppier cousin.

"It's all about the hops," said Mike Bristol, owner of Bristol Brewing Company. "Our Imperial IPA uses a ton of great American hops, and, incidentally, each of those varieties of hops has been featured individually in our Single Hop IPA series. The combination creates a big flavor for IPA fans; it's like taking the scenic route for their hop-craving taste buds."

This citrusy, medium-bodied beer is amber in color, featuring four varieties of hops: Columbus, Simcoe, Amarillo, and Centennial. And while Bristol's Imperial IPA is pungent and robust in flavor - checking in at an 8.1 percent ABV - it's a treat for the hop loyal that has just a bit more finesse than the popular but typically palate-crushing American IPA.

The beer will be available on tap and in 22 oz. bomber bottles in the Bristol Pub, as well as in restaurants, bars, and liquor stores in Colorado Springs. For more information on Bristol Brewing Co. and its Brewhouse Series, visit Use #IPAUSA on social media.
