Kansas State Cars continues to provide consumers with relevant university information

Description of K-State Alumni Association benefits among the latest informative blog posts

PR Newswire

MANHATTAN, Kan., Dec. 31, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The Kansas State Cars program, a branch of the Briggs Auto Group in Kansas, is continuing their quest to provide Kansas State University students, faculty and alumni with relevant university information. The program recently shifted the focus of their informative blog to include more information about upcoming university events, and how purchases through the Kansas State Cars program directly benefit the university.

Kansas State Cars has made a 10-year commitment to benefit K-State Athletics, and entered a 10-year corporate sponsorship with the K-State Alumni Association. A number of registered Kansas State Cars users are aware that purchases through the program benefit the athletics program and the alumni association, but aren't exactly positive on where the money goes, or how the benefited programs work.

To help explain how the programs operate, Kansas State Cars has provided interested consumers with information about all of the K-State Alumni Association benefits. With over 40,000 registered members, the alumni association at Kansas State University is the top-ranked Big 12 School for percentage of graduates who are members.

As Kansas State Cars explains in their blog post, members of the association receive a number of benefits including — but not limited to — an annual wall calendar, discounts at a variety of local businesses, discounted tickets for K-State sporting events, a membership to the K-State Salina Campus Recreation Center and a subscription to the award-winning K-Stater magazine.

More information about the K-State Alumni Association — including the full list of member benefits — can be found on the Kansas State Cars website where consumers can also view additional K-State news.
