Homes.com, a leading online real estate destination and lifestyle resource, has exclusively partnered with Olioboard and an elite group of bloggers to launch the ‘Fabulously Festive’ contest. Home enthusiasts can plan their holiday spaces using Olioboard and decorative pieces created by the Homes.com blogger ambassador network for an opportunity to win one of three Homes.com VISA gift cards totaling $1,750. From November 21 through December 12, participants can enter the contest by designing their dream space for the holidays.
Olioboard, an online interior design moodboard creator, allows members to essentially ‘try it before they buy it.’ Members can create 2D and 3D room designs using an extensive library of retail products from brands such as Crate & Barrel, West Elm, and more. This unique platform allows members to create, share, and even shop their moodboard designs.
“We are thrilled to be joining forces with Homes.com, our exclusive real estate partner, to bring a little festive fun this holiday season,” said Sheilah MacSporran, Olioboard’s CEO & co-founder. “Olioboard has helped over one hundred thousand people quickly and easily make their space reflect their own unique personal style. We’re looking forward to seeing all the ‘Fabulously Festive’ holiday-inspired designs.”
Homes.com has invited 14 bloggers, such as Cassity from Remodelaholic, Shelley from House of Smiths and Jennifer from Tatertots and Jello, to create original DIY tutorials for each of the contest's winter holiday decor pieces. These step-by-step tutorials will be shared on the Homes.com blog and linked inside Olioboard for contest entrants to use when designing their virtual holiday spaces. DIY categories include tablescapes, hanging decor, and wall decor. The blogger-designed decor pieces will allow contest entrants to create the finishing touches of their room design.
“Homes.com is excited to be an exclusive real estate partner with Olioboard for the ‘Fabulously Festive’ contest,” said Wendy Froehlich, vice president of marketing, Homes.com. “Our goal is to help renters and homebuyers through every phase of the home search process and beyond; and this holiday season, we hope to inspire them to create personalized, festive moments in their homes.”
Since many holiday pieces will work as temporary decor solutions for renters, the DIY tutorials created by Homes.com’s blogger ambassador network for the Olioboard contest will also be shared on sister site ForRent.com’s Apartment Living blog - showcasing that no matter where you live, you can create a festive space for the holidays.
