Brandeis Hillel Day School Announces New Director of Marketing and Communications

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - November 21, 2013) - Brandeis Hillel Day School (BHDS), one of the largest independent co-educational Jewish day schools serving students in grades K-8 with campuses in San Francisco and San Rafael, today announced the appointment of Andrea Sobel as Director of Marketing and Communications. Ms. Sobel will develop, implement and guide BHDS' strategic marketing and communications programs across all departments at both campuses to expand the school's outreach and connection throughout the Bay Area.

Ms. Sobel has 20 years of marketing and public relations experience, and has held numerous leadership positions responsible for marketing, communications, branding and media relations. "It is an honor for me to be joining an organization that prepares students for leadership and raises the standard for educational excellence," said Sobel.

Ms. Sobel holds a Bachelors of Arts in International Relations and Spanish from UC Davis and the University of Madrid, Spain. She also completed graduate work in International Business and Marketing at San Francisco State University.
