All-new Jeep® Grand Cherokee takes off with highest sales month in 10
years
WINDSOR, ON, Nov. 2 /CNW/ - Chrysler Canada today announced its eleventh
consecutive month of sales increases, reporting total sales of 15,168
for the month of October 2010, compared with 14,263 in October 2009.
Total October sales represented a gain of six per cent over the same
month last year, and an increase of 27 per cent calendar-year-to-date
(CYTD). Chrysler Canada sales through October of 175,240 have already
surpassed the full 12-month sales figure from 2009.
Consistently strong retail sales, representing an increase of 19 per
cent for the month, were largely responsible for the continued growth.
"Sales of our all-new fuel-efficient Jeep Grand Cherokee were booming in
October with sales up 500 per cent over last year to the highest Grand
Cherokee sales in 10 years," said Reid Bigland, President and CEO of
Chrysler Canada. "With 14 additional all-new products hitting
showrooms over the next 90 days, we are feeling pretty good about the
future."

two months left in the year, and they have already clinched their best
