4,000 Exam Centers Now Open Worldwide to the Symfony Certification Candidates
Paris, France (PRWEB) October 07, 2013
SensioLabs, designer of the Symfony framework and one of the Open Source world community leaders, now relies on nearly 4,000 Pearson VUE exam centers located all over the world to ease the Symfony Certification exam process (SensioLabs Symfony Certified Developer). It brings to the best developers and their employers multiple opportunities to validate and assert their knowledge and skills on Symfony.
A More Flexible Exam Process, an Immediate Result
Backed by the success of the sessions held during Symfony Live conferences, SensioLabs decided to allow web development professionals to plan their own Symfony Certification session at the place and date of their choice, with Pearson VUE partner exam centers. The test is now individual and entirely electronic. This way, the grading process is automatic so that each candidate knows at the end of the test whether they are certified or not. According to their score – which is kept secret – they then immediately receive the certification that matches one of the two current possible grades – Confirmed or Expert.
But Still the Same Operational Excellence Expectations
The Symfony Certification exam still keeps strong expectations with respect to the candidates’ operational expertise. To that end, it consists of 75 questions randomly chosen amongst 16 topics (PHP, HTTP, Twig, etc.) allowing to validate the mastery of the framework and its related best practices. The aim is to provide the most qualified members of Symfony ecosystem with the opportunity to add value to their skills and gain in legitimacy, for instance with future employers. For companies, this is a way to shine against competitors by guaranteeing expert development resources their clients. This is also the open door to the SensioLabs Partnership Program and its numerous advantages.
