EmployeeScreenIQ's Angela Preston Re-Elected to Two-Year Term with NAPBS Board of Directors
CLEVELAND / October 4, 2013--Angela Preston, J.D., vice president of compliance and general counsel with EmployeeScreenIQ has been re-elected to the Board of Directors for the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS).
Angela is a seasoned expert with more than 20 years as a licensed attorney and 12 years as a leader and expert in the background screening industry. She has extensive expertise in employment law, privacy law, equal employment opportunity (EEO) law and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Throughout her career she has specialized in government affairs, compliance best practices and policy initiatives. Angela first served on the Board of Directors in the term beginning in 2011. She is also a liaison for the NAPBS Government Relations Committee, and frequently represents the Association when meeting with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and members of Congress.
In her position as regular member director, Angela serves to fulfill the mission of NAPBS "to promote ethical business practices, compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, equal employment opportunity and state consumer protection laws relating to the background screening profession."
