Renaissance Marin Hosts Seminar for Chilean Women Entrepreneurs; Graduate Paula Tejeda, Owner of Chile Lindo, Connects Small Business Owners Across Cultures

>PRWEB.COM Newswire

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) April 15, 2013

Paula, who graduated from Renaissance’s Business Planning Class in 2008, owns Chile Lindo Delicatessen & Coffee Shop specializing in authentic Chilean empanadas made from locally-produced ingredients. As an immigrant with a life-long commitment to fostering intercultural dialogue, Paula added a second branch to her thriving small business: a cross-cultural marketing, events, and community outreach consulting center. So, when the mayor of Sausalito approached Paula to participate in the sister-city initiative to bring Chilean enterprising women from AGEP-V association to the United States for a week, Paula was glad to put her skills and connections, including her Renaissance ties, to work.

“Every time I go back to Renaissance for a workshop or a networking event, I realize how important these opportunities are for me and my business. Renaissance has the right combination of good people, structure, and human understanding to meet the needs of local entrepreneurs,” comments Paula. “I’m excited to bring my Chilean counterparts to Renaissance – the seminar will be a great way to wrap up their visit.”

Renaissance Marin is one of the organization’s four centers in the Bay Area. Launched in partnership with the Marin Community Foundation, Renaissance Marin provides critical access to training, resources and support services, including business incubation and commercial kitchen, to help aspiring and established local entrepreneurs achieve their dreams of small business success and financial independence.

“We look forward to welcoming Paula and AGEP-V to the center,” says Boku Kodama, the Center Manager. “Since its opening last June, Renaissance Marin has become a local hub of entrepreneurial activity, offering regular training and business networking opportunities. We hope women entrepreneurs from Chile will be able to take away helpful tips and will feel inspired to strengthen small business support communities back at home.”
