First Utility launches new ‘Price Promise’* guaranteed to be cheaper than the “Big six” tariffs
London (PRWEB UK) 18 March 2013
The ‘Price Promise’ will feature in First Utility’s brand new tariff, iSave Everyday, which guarantees to be cheaper than the “Big Six” dual fuel standard tariffs.
First Utility will track the “Big Six” on a weekly basis and will ensure that the iSave Everyday tariff average price (calculated on a National basis) is cheaper than each of the “Big six” standard dual fuel tariffs. With no early termination charges or minimum terms, the new tariff allows customers to benefit from flexibility when choosing their energy provider.
Ed Kamm, Chief Marketing Officer at First Utility says: “The rising cost of energy affects us all and we at First Utility want to do something about it. The launch of our new iSave Everyday tariff together with our Price Promise will ensure consumers have a better deal when compared to the “Big Six” dual fuel standard tariffs. We are committed to driving innovation and competitive pricing for the UK consumer and our Price Promise supports this ambition.”
iSave Everyday will be priced at £1,250 per annum at launch (based on an average electricity consumption of 3,300kWh and average gas consumption of 16,500kWh).
First Utility has also launched a new dual fuel fixed rate tariff. The iSave Fixed v7 has a fixed rate until September 2014 giving customers up to eighteen months of price certainty.
Ed Kamm of First Utility, adds: “For customers wanting certainty we’ve also introduced a new fixed rate tariff. Our iSave Fixed v7 tariff will give consumers the added security of fixing their energy prices for up to eighteen months through September 2014.”
Both new tariffs will be available to new and existing customers through the First Utility
website, energy comparison sites and selected partners of First Utility.
