Machinery Systems Inc. and Mazak to Showcase Mazak Horizontal Machining Centers in Schaumburg, IL, March 13, 2013

>PRWEB.COM Newswire

Brookfield, WI (PRWEB) February 26, 2013

The Brookfield office of Machinery Systems Inc. invites local Milwaukee and Wisconsin area metalworking manufacturers and job shops to join them at their exclusive “Discover Mazak Horizontals” event, March 13, 2013 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Lunch will be served. This free event will be held in Mazak’s 56,000 sq ft. state-of-the-art-technology center located at 300 Commerce Drive in Schaumburg, IL. and will highlight five of Mazak’s highly productive horizontal machining centers featuring both #40 and #50 taper cutting demonstrations.

To register for the event, visit http://www.machsys.com/hcnIIw.

Featured machines will include several Mazak Horizontal Center Nexus machines including the HCN8800II Mega with 100 HP spindle; HCN8800II HM featuring enhanced rigidity; HCN6800II a #50 heavy duty, high speed solution; HCN4000II #40 taper production center. Also featured will be Orbitec, Mazak’s unique turning/boring/milling center; and Mazak’s very own Palletech, the most widely owned pallet management system in the market.

Participants at the event will have the opportunity to “look under the hood” at the design and technology of each Mazak horizontal machining center. Exhibits and training on G-code programming, off-line program generation, probing, workholding and the latest tooling technology will be available.

Mazak’s HCN series is the most diverse family of horizontal machine centers in the world. The HCN series provides high-precision machining over extended periods due to machine designs that feature rigid construction and an extremely responsive drive system. Machine accuracies are certified prior to shipment according to the stringent Mazak standard as well as the ISO standard. Machines in the series offer Mazak’s MATRIX NEXUS CNC programming, which provides 64-bit processing power to handle the large amounts of data required in multiple, complex part programs. Standard G-Code programming allows users to load existing programs with little or no edits and create new programs right at the machine. For those who prefer to manage or generate programs off-line, the Matrix is fully network capable. Mazatrol conversational programming is a standard feature as well, allowing for unequalled flexibility. Users also have the option of mixing G-Code and conversational processes.
