Q-Suite's High Availability SIP Proxy Offers Load Balancing for Contact Centers

With this enhancement to its High Availability (HA) SIP proxy, Q-Suite continues its expansion into the large and very large contact center deployments. Q-Suite is a powerful contact center software that provides a feature-rich ACD and Dialer in a distributed architecture. The load balancing allows Q-Suite to use multiple Asterisk servers in a cluster to handle high concurrent call volume entering the ACD queues. This feature allows Q-Suite to scale to multiple Asterisk servers to handle the peak load of very large contact center operations while offering its advanced queuing and skills based routing.
High Availability SIP proxy is a part of the fault tolerant call survival architecture for Q-Suite. The Overseer Watchdog system within Q-Suite provides mechanism for monitoring and making fail-over decisions. This enhancement to its SIP proxy further consolidates the capability of Q-Suite to provide High Availability with large concurrent call handling capacity to contact centers wanting to use Asterisk as their telephony platform.
