Toronto - Earlier this week a video surfaced, showing a giant panda playing in the snow at a zoo in Toronto. The video captures the panda doing a number of activities, including rolling down a hill.
The panda, named Da Mao, was outside his enclosure when it started to snow out. Da Mao didn't run for cover, and instead decided to roll around and play in it.
Da Mao is seen sliding down the hill and then going back up it and back down. The video also captures him eating the snow after he scoops some up into his paws. The zoo dubs the panda's activity as bear-bogganing."
As of now, the video has gathered more than 700,000 views and more than 2,000 thumbs ups. The Toronto Zoo's YouTube channel also includes other animal videos, including videos of penguins, gorillas, giraffes and more.
According to National Post, Da Mao, who is 6, was one of two pandas that were shipped from China to Toronto last year.
This isn't the first time Da Mao has enjoyed a play in the snow. Last winter a video of him was posted and it showed him having fun in the snow. That video can be seen below, and it shows him rolling around and even jumping from the top of his enclosure and into the snow.
