article imageTop ISIS recruit turns out to be Seattle college student

A top-recruiting agent for the terrorist organization ISIS has surprisingly been identified as a 20-something journalism student from the northwestern United States.
On Twitter, this top-ranking ISIS recruit, a woman responsible for recruiting numerous other females from both the United States and Britain, is known as @_UmmWaqqas.
A television news crew first reported the woman's identity, based on social media posts and pictures.
Though it's not for certain the woman in her 20s was the sole user of the account, there can be little question as to the influence the Twitter handle @_UmmWaqqas had on Americans and Brits, particularly females, looking to join the terrorist group ISIS.
She was considered an integral connection for prospective ISIS recruits, particularly upon reaching Syria, and her contact information is listed in ISIS manuals as a potential contact.
Still, based on her posts to social media, the woman's tasted blurred between radical Islamic extremism and more "normalized" western cultures.
Posted to the same Twitter account were pro-ISIS posts, as well as quotes such as, "“The greatest thing that a man can do for a women is to bring her closer to Allah," and adverts for events like Super Bowl parties and photos of half-eaten slices of pizza at a Seattle-based pizzeria.
Though her Twitter account has since been suspended screen captures taken from the social media page also indicated the woman sought out radicalized Islamic lectures on her laptop computer, and was so moved by the teachings, she was compelled to change her major from journalism.
Her current whereabouts are unclear, and guesses may range from Saudi Arabia to Denver, Colorado.
