Syria warring sides meet in same room in Geneva: UN

Syria's warring sides met together in the same room on Saturday for the first time since peace talks started in Geneva, the UN said.

"The two Syrian delegations are now meeting together with the Joint Special Representative (Lakhdar Brahimi) at the United Nations office at Geneva," Brahimi's spokeswoman, Corinne Momal-Vanian, said.
