Situation ‘completely under control’ after coup attempt: Turkey PM

Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim on Saturday declared the situation in his country was "completely under control" after thwarting a military coup aimed at toppling his government.

"The situation is completely under control," said Yildirim in Ankara, flanked by the ministers of justice and interior as well as Turkey's top general outside his offices in the capital.
