Obama to convene National Security Council before leaving for G20

US President Barack Obama will convene his National Security Council before leaving for the G20 summit in Turkey, the White House said Saturday.

The president plans to review intelligence surrounding the attacks in Paris Friday, in which gunmen and suicide bombers killed at least 128 people and wounded hundreds.

Obama is to leave Saturday afternoon for the meeting of leaders of the G-20 developed nations, according to his agenda. The two-day summit starts Sunday in the southern resort city of Antalya.
