World powers made no "significant" new proposals in nuclear talks Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said days before a deadline for a deal.

"There were important discussions but no significant propositions worth returning to Tehran with," Iran's negotiating team quoted Zarif as saying.
