Karadzic to appeal genocide verdict at UN war crimes court: Lawyer

Former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic will appeal his UN war crimes court conviction for genocide, his legal adviser said Thursday.

"Dr Karadzic is disappointed and astonished. He feels that he was convicted on inference instead of evidence and will appeal the judgement," Peter Robinson told journalists outside the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague.
