Greece’s Varoufakis says confident of debt deal ‘in two days’

-

Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis said he was confident of reaching a deal with the eurozone on overhauling a hated debt bailout programme in two days despite crunch talks collapsing Monday.

"I have no doubt that in the next 48 hours we will find the phrasing" for an accord, Varoufakis said, as his 18 eurozone partners demanded that Greece continue its bailout programme and austerity commitments before talks could resume.
