A Seattle teenager may have had her life saved thanks to her glasses deflecting a bullet that was fired in a drive-by shooting.
According to USA Today, 16-year-old Alonza Bryant was sleeping on her living room couch when gunfire tore into the home. Bullets went right through the walls and a front window, and one of the bullets struck e bridge of the glasses.
According to CBS, Bryant said she heard a bang and then she noticed that her nose started to bleed. The glasses ended up breaking, but Bryant was not seriously injured.
According to KomoNews, Bryant said that she did not know why someone would do that to her, her family and shoot her home. She went on to say that she and her family did nothing.
Besides Bryant, there were four adults and three younger children inside the home when the shooting occurred around 10 p.m.. Nobody else suffered any injuries.
