Germany sees ‘little leeway’ for Greek debt restructuring: spokesman

Germany's finance ministry said Friday that Berlin saw "very little leeway" for softening the terms for Greece on repaying its debt.

"We see very little leeway in terms of restructuring, re-profiling (of Greece's debt) and the like," ministry spokesman Martin Jaeger told reporters.

Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble "made very clear yesterday that he sees these things, or this debate, very sceptically".
