Car bomb kills 15 in Syria’s Homs: governor

-

Fifteen people were killed on Saturday and dozens more wounded when a car bomb struck the central Syrian city of Homs, the provincial governor told AFP.

Talal Barazi said the blast hit the neighbourhood of Al-Zahraa, killing 15 civilians and wounding at least 64.

A medical source in Homs, who did not give his name because he was not authorised to speak to the press, gave the same death toll but said 100 people were wounded.
