Book says David Cameron put private part in a dead pig’s mouth

Call me Dave Cameron

The book, Call Me Dave, is an unauthorized biography of Mr. Cameron written by Michael Ashcroft and the journalist Isabel Oakeshott. The two claim a source, who they do not identify, told them that what is surely to be called a “pig” mistake by Cameron happened while he was a student at Oxford.

At an initiation ceremony for a well-known Oxford dining society called Piers Gaveston, this unnamed source, himself an MP, said Mr. Cameron took out his private member and placed it into the mouth of the dead pig. The pig’s head, the source said, was on the lap of another person.

Their source referred to it as “a private part of his anatomy” and that’s being taken to mean the prime minister’s penis. The book claims the unidentified MP has seen photographic evidence of Cameron and his private part in the pig’s head; however, the person the source said is the owner of the photo did not respond to Ashcroft and Oakeshott’s requests to view it.

Proof lacking

No actual proof of the event really happening is offered in the book. The Daily Mail published excerpts of the book, which, among other things, also claims that Cameron often smoked marijuana in university.

Ashcroft is a wealthy business man who has contributed about $8 million to the Conservatives and who was once the treasurer of the party. His falling out with Cameron came after he was not offered a post in Cameron’s cabinet in 2010, which he said he had been promised. That squabble came in turn after revelations that Ashcroft’s tax status saw him not pay U.K. taxes on his foreign investments.

The accusations of Cameron’s piggish behaviour at Oxford, where Cameron was a member of the elite Bullingdon Club, known for raucous parties and outrageous events, have inspired the hashtags #piggate and #hameron and the U.K. appears to be uniting in the pursuit of making fun of their leader.

The prime minister’s office has only commented to say they won’t dignify the book with a comment. No word yet from Mr. Cameron himself.
