Belgian prosecutor says ‘too early’ to make links with Paris attacks

-

It is too early to make any link between Tuesday's attacks on Brussels and those in Paris in November, the federal prosecutor said, just days after a key Paris suspect was arrested in the Belgian capital.

"It is too early to establish a link with the Paris attacks," federal prosecutor Frederic Van Leeuw told a news conference with Prime Minister Charles Michel.

Belgian police arrested Salah Abdeslam Friday after a series of raids in Brussels in connection with the Paris attacks which left 130 people dead and were claimed by the Islamic State jihadist group.
