article imageTrump's war of words with Fox News' Megyn Kelly

By Nate Smith     Aug 26, 2015 in Politics
New York - Donald Trump picked up right where he left off with his ongoing attacks against Fox News host Megyn Kelly Monday -- her first day back following a two-week vacation.
Moments after The Kelly File went off the air, the GOP front runner took to Twitter with a series of social media posts criticizing Kelly's on-air interview with Monday's guest, activist Cornel West, and even retweeting a post that claimed Kelly had returned from her vacation, "looking like Nancy Grace."
Still another retweet from the real estate mogul referred to Kelly as a "bimbo."
Trump has taken aim at Kelly ever since the first Republican presidential candidate debate in Cleveland earlier this month, in which The Donald apparently took offensive to a number of tough questions, from Kelly in particular.
Monday was Kelly's first show since Aug. 12, and Trump had previously asserted her vacation was a result of her questions from that GOP debate.
Fox News, for its part, has claimed that vacation was pre-planned.
Monday's criticisms from Trump were relatively tame compared to his comments in the immediate aftermath of that first debate when he charged Kelly had blood, "coming out of her wherever."
