article imageGerman official says crystal meth makes him work harder

Berlin - German Member of Parliament (MP), Michael Hartmann, has admitted to using crystal meth. The police were notified by a drug dealer.
Hartmann, 51, and a member of the Social Democratic Party, said he purchased a small dose of crystal meth to improve his performance at work.
According to The Local, he was not addicted and had only been using it for a month. He simply wanted to work more efficiently and decided that energy drinks and sleep were not enough for him.
Hartmann reportedly Broke Bad during the fall of last year, when he decided to buy the powerful drug from a dealer. This is interesting, considering Hartmann spoke out against the use and legalization of cannabis.
His apartment in Berlin was searched last week after the dealer identified Hartmann as a customer, but surprisingly no drugs were found.
He remains a member of Parliament and so far he has not been charged.
