article imageRob Ford trashes actor Kevin Spacey on 'Ford Nation' YouTube show

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford, and his brother, Toronto councilor Doug Ford, unleashed a barrage of criticism at actor Kevin Spacey on their 'Ford Nation' YouTube show today. Spacey's biggest crime appears to be not posing for a picture with the mayor.
“He is an arrogant SOB and I’ll tell you why,” Doug Ford said of Spacey on a Ford Nation released on Friday morning. “Any actor who makes a living off the people that watch his shows - you can’t take a picture with him? We were told you can’t take a picture, you can’t speak to him. Who does this character think he is? He thinks he’s God?”
Rob Ford and Spacey appeared on the same Jimmy Kimmel Live show on Monday, March 3rd and brother Doug was backstage with Rob. The appearance didn't go so well for the Mayor. Kimmel made sport of him repeatedly, even wiping sweat off the red-faced Ford's forehead. When Spacey was on later, after the Ford interview was over and Ford had left the stage, he, too, made fun of Ford, saying that the Mayor had thrown up all over the dressing room the two shared.
In the attack on Spacey on Ford Nation (the entire episode they titled 'Kevin Spacey'), Rob Ford went for the jugular, saying that he in fact barely knew who Spacey was. “I don’t watch movies," Mayor Ford said. "So I wouldn’t know him if I ran him over."
Spacey, a two-time Academy Award-winner (The Usual Suspects, American Beauty) hasn't said publicly whether he knows of, or cares about, the Ford brothers' blusterings.
