Her cabinet was also introduced and sworn in. In addition to Notley, who is also Minister of International and Intergovernmental Relations, the other eleven cabinet ministers include:

Oneil Carlier (Whitecourt-Ste. Anne): Minister of Agriculture and Forestry

Shannon Phillips (Lethbridge West): Minister of Environment and Parks and Minister Responsible for the Status of Women

Irfan Sabir (Calgary-McCall): Minister of Human Services

Mason, Eggen, and Bilous were expected to be named as cabinet ministers as they are veteran NDP MLAs in addition to Notley.

After the ceremony, Notley and the MLAs and cabinet ministers roamed through the crowd to meet with people in attendance The festivities at the Legislature also included music and free frozen treats. This was the first time a swearing in was open to the public.
