Woman takes Rolex watch, hides in her vagina

By Sylvannia Soulet     Apr 6, 2014 in Odd News
Las Vegas - A Las Vegas woman faces two felony counts after allegedly stealing a Rolex watch valued up to $35,000, and promptly hiding it in her vagina.
This past January, 25 year-old Christina Lafave met Kenneth Herold, 66, at a bar located at the Wynn hotel in Las Vegas. Lafave told Herold that for $300 she would offer him a private massage, and the two retired to Herold’s hotel room. During the massage, Lafave advised Herold to remove his watch, an exclusive Rolex Presidential timepiece, so that she could properly massage his arms. Less than ten minutes later, Herold realized the watch had vanished from its place on the floor, and he called hotel security.
After an extensive search of the room came up empty, Lafave was placed under police custody, where she later admitted to using her birth canal as a makeshift coin purse. According to the official arrest report, she was then transported to the hospital University Medical Center, where an x-ray revealed the Rolex watch; the item was removed by medical staff.
Although Lafave admitted to taking the watch, she intends to challenge the charges against her in court. Her defense lawyer, Chris Rasmussen, argues that the case comprises an illegal search-and-seizure by police. He also insists that the encounter was consensual and that Herold intended to spite Lafave when she refused to perform a sexual favour on him. “We believe he gave her the watch and later he tried to take it back when he wasn’t satisfied with her services,” Rasmussen told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “Like any person who works in these hotels, she believed she was going to be compensated for her massage.”
Lafave faces felony charges of grand larceny and possession of stolen property. If convicted, she could potentially spend 20 years in prison.
