Memphis - A woman was recently banned from the Memphis zoo after exhibiting some strange behavior. Fortunately she was caught before she could endanger herself or the lions.
Other visitors noticed that something was wrong with a woman at the Memphis Zoo. She came back on more than one occasion and was singing loudly both times. Things took a turn for the worse when she started throwing objects at them. The woman also continually leaned towards the lions in an attempt to feed them cookies.
The final straw came when she jumped the barrier in order to get closer to the animals. Guests called security to come get the woman. According to a report by Action News 5 the woman was escorted out before anything really bad could happen.
Memphis has recently been the center of some erratic behavior in previous months. Not all of the strange incidents went as well as this one according to CBS News.
This seems to have had little impact on how people feel about Memphis. As with any city in the world it has advantages and disadvantages as you would expect. Memphis is also known for being the hometown of Elvis Presley. It holds a special place in the hearts of fans all over the world for this reason.
Possible tourists should not worry too much about visiting the Memphis Zoo since the woman has been banned and staff there have been told to keep her out. Unless of course you wanted to see her while you were there.
