article imageVideo: What it looks like to age 14 years in just 4 minutes

Frans Hofmeester is a Dutch filmmaker and he is a master of time-lapse portraiture. His films are composed of hundreds of video clips from children who are in their infancy to their early teens.
According to Daily Dot, Hofmeester's latest film is a continuation of a film from 2012, and it features his daugther. The 2012 film captured her up to the age of 12, but the latest clip extends to 14-years-old.
According to NPR, Hofmeester's daughter, Lotte, turned 14 back in October, and this prompted him to create a "time lapse edit" of the images he already collected since she was an infant.
According to Time, Hofmeester said that he created the video because it is a great way for him to bond with his kids. Hofmeester has also produced a video of his son, Vince, growing up.
Hofmeester said that he used the Saturday morning shoots as a chance to ask his kids how their week went, as well as what they like and dislike. He also said that this generation is the most filmed and photographed generation of all-time, but many people just store their pictures in a file on their computer. He went on to say that many people do not look at their photographs in the same way that artists looks at them.
