Twin due dates
The twin sisters, 36, who married guys who were best friends, both of whom teach at the same school in central Utah, are not due to have their next set of twins on the same day, however, But you might be able to guess how many weeks apart their due dates are. Two. They're
each due early in the Spring of 2016.
Their last sets of twins, the first children for each, Kole and Hallie for Kerri and Madison and McKell for Kelli, were born around the same time; Kerri's kiddies are turning four this month and Kelli's kids turn five in October. The two pairs of two kids hang out a lot so their parents get double the fun.
In-vitro births
Kerri told ABC News that both she and her sister had "fertility issues" and went the in-vitro fertilization route to help when they had their twins, with Kelli going in-vitro again (Kerri did not this time). They say in-vitro probably helped produce twins but the chances they'd each get pregnant with twins again is a long shot.
Kerri has a third child who is, yes, two, and with that baby and her current pregnancy she got pregnant without in-vitro. But she loves the fact that she and her sister had that option and that it gave their family two sets of two kids.
"Those who are struggling with fertility: don’t give up," she said. "I consider each of my children miracles that I thought we couldn't have. Blessings come in the strangest of ways."
Blessings that, in her family, are twice as likely.
