Tiny fairy doors in UK woodlands show massive fairy support

Now is the time for many people to begin preparations for this wonderful English holiday, such as building little fairy doors that will be attached to the bases of trees in places like Somerset Woods or the 29-acres of Wayford Manor Gardens in the UK. It is a tradition that began appearing at the beginning of the millennium. Truth be known, it is such a popular tradition that it is getting out of control, showing massive fairy support for the little ones.

Trustee Steven Acreman has said it’s getting out of control: “We had to draw the line when a fairy fairground appeared in the woods. The magical inhabitants of the woods appear to have a lack of regard for planning permission.” Mr. Acreman said we’re not “anti-fairy” but felt that 10 doors nailed to one tree was too many.

Not everyone believes in fairies, as stated in Melta Filter in the comment section,

“We had a complete fairy fairground arrive, but we rejected that planning proposal.”

‘And by “rejected”, we mean “ran over with the lawnmower”.’

Set up as a charitable trust in the 1990s, it wasn’t until the beginning of the millennium that the first fairy moved into the Wayford Manor Gardens and installed a “little door” in the roots of a tree.

The enchanted doors were originally built to receive letters from local children, sent to the fairies who lived there with secret messages. Doors have been found with toys attached to them, addressed to the fairy woods the children loved so much. Fairy fables show that the fairies come out only at night, but they do trade letters, notes, gifts and toys back and forth with young children.

It is on record that the first fairy door that appeared had a tiny handle on it, with a little bed inside. Many of the woodland areas have as many as 200 fairy entrances among the trees, with a growing demand for the doors.

The first door that was found had a miniature handle and when opened it had a little bed inside. The woods have proved popular by children and adults alike, supporters of the little fairies who lived in the woods. There are now around 200 entrances to fairy homes among the trees, to the point even the most hardened anti-fairy individual finds himself weakening in the knees with his own belief system.

There seems to be an explosive demand for tiny fairy doors as the belief in fairies expands, and the market is meeting that demand through The Little Fairy Door, Amazon, Home Depot or Target.
