A teen in Western Australia was bitten by a shark on Saturday, but managed to ride his bike home and make himself some breakfast.
Cameron Pearman ,13, was at Port Bouvard Beach when he was bitten by an a shark, approximately 6-feet-long.
After the shark bit Pearman on the leg, he rode his bike about a mile and made ate some raisin toast before his father took him to the hospital, according to Daily Mail.
Pearman said that the shark came up underneath him, bit his leg and just swam off.
"I was pretty hungry and needed some raisin toast," said Pearman.
Surf Life Saving WA said Pearman received a small puncture wound right above the knee. At first, his father didn't believe that he was bitten by a shark, after he casually walked in and told him about the incident.
Pearman said he only saw the shark, which had a massive grey head, for only a second. He said that he thinks it was an accident and it was going after some fish, but ran into him.
Pearman added that it was an adrenaline rush and he just rode home because he didn't have his phone on him. He also said he will be back in the water very soon, maybe as soon as tomorrow morning.
