London - Three spectators and a performer were injured after part of the set collapsed onto the audience during an acrobat show in London.
The bizarre incident occurred at the Fuerzabruta show at the Roundhouse in Camden Friday night, BBC News reports.
The audience is encouraged to walk under the performing acrobats during the show, which has been described as "mind-blowing," the Metro reports.
About 30 minutes into the show, the set caved in on top of them. Subsequently, the audience was evacuated.
Photographer Steve Johns, 68, told BBC News: "The sail collapsed onto technicians and members of the public below."
"Fortunately, due to the efficient security service and the calm of the crowd, the worst was avoided, Johns added according to the Metro.
"I saw only one person wounded on the ground before I was made to leave. The rest of the show was cancelled."
Some eyewitnesses took to Twitter to share their experiences.
"Performance cancelled. I hope the dancers that fell are ok. This is crazy," audience member James Bell tweeted. '#fuerzabruta #roundhouse."
"OMG Health & Safety Nightmare!" show goer Bex wrote. "Accident happened and show cancelled! Just glad everyone appears to be ok #Fuerzabruta #roundhouse."
The Roundhouse's official Twitter also posted about the incident. "Thanks to everyone at tonight’s Fuerzabruta show for your understanding. Apologies to those expecting to see the cancelled 10pm. More soon."
A Roundhouse spokesman described the incident as "extremely regrettable" and said that Saturday's show was canceled, BBC News reports.
Three audience members were treated for minor injuries and taken to the Royal Free Hospital.
A spokeswoman for the Roundhouse said it was investigating the reason for the collapse.
