article imageNew 'arousing' ice cream contains low dose of Viagra

By Sean Fraser     Apr 15, 2014 in Odd News
A new treat invented by "edible inventor" Charlie Harry Francis may help initiate after-dinner activities, but the aphrodisiac is not available for just anyone.
Francis, whose other edible concoctions include sprout sorbet, glow-in-the-dark ice cream, and an ice cream flavor named "Don't Eat the Yellow Snow," has created "Arousal," a blue-tinted, champagne-flavored treat laced with 25 mg of Viagra per scoop.
According to Francis' blog, Lick Me I'm Delicious, he invented the novelty ice cream at the request of an A-list celebrity who preferred to remain anonymous.
"They've made us sign a confidentiality agreement," Francis said on his blog. "We can't say much about it, but I am allowed to say that they were 'very happy with the end result.'"
The ice cream is not available for purchase, but Francis said he was happy to recreate the treat upon request.
Adding the male enhancement drug to food is not new. Culinary students in Quindio, Bogota, Colombia, invented a "love dessert" containing passion fruit and Viagra.
The pudding-like dessert was presented during the "Gastronomy 2009" show in Bogota, but is also not for sale.
