Duca, who is married, replied publicly by saying she would rather eat her own organs than go to the inauguration with Shkreli. After that, Shkreli changed his bio on Twitter and said he had a small crush on Duca.

He also posted a collage of Duca on his Twitter header. Furthermore, he photo-shopped an image that featured Duca and her husband sitting on a sofa, but the photo had Shkreli’s face on Duca’s husband’s body.

Duca tweeted the screenshots of the photos Shkreli posted and she tagged the CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, in the post. She asked how this was allowed and how she felt sick after seeing the photo of her and her husband.
Twitter took notice and reacted by suspending Shkreli’s account on the same day. Duca also uploaded a photo of herself and addressed it to her “haters,” saying that the photo was her living her life. She added that people should use their energy on something productive. As of now, Shkreli’s account is still suspended.
Duca commended Twitter for suspending Shkreli’s account. She said he deserved it and that the only reason people were paying attention is because Shkreli is a high profile figure.
Shkreli made national news in 2015, when his company Turing Pharmaceuticals raised the price of Daraprim from $13.50 a pill to $750 per pill. By the end of 2015, his career collapsed and he was accused of securities fraud. Eventually he resigned as the CEO of Turing.
