article imageHundreds of thousands of bees kill man in Arizona

A gardener from Arizona lost his life after around 800,000 killer bees attacked him. The bees got worked up in a frenzy because of his lawnmower.
According to Telegraph, the 32-year-old man was working for a charity, Douglas ARC, that assists people in need within the community.
The gardener, who has not been named, was with three of his colleagues in Douglas, tending to a 90-year-old homeowner's lawn.
The incident occurred on Wednesday morning around 10:30 a.m., according to ABC. The man ended up going into cardiac arrest after he was reportedly stung more than 100 times. His face and neck was covered by the swam of bees. One of the man's colleagues was also stung numerous times, but he managed to escape.
The beehive was about six feet long and four feet wide. The bees, thought to be Africanized honey bees, went into the frenzy right after the lawnmower turned on.
A pest control expert was working nearby and he made his way over to the scene after being called over. He said that the bees were already dropping down on him before he started to spray them. He continued to say that they were dive bombing him and that was a sign to back off.
The hive was discovered in the attic of the home, and a beekeeper was called in to take care of it. They ended up exterminating it after parts of the home's roof was torn off.
