By Owen Weldon     Dec 18, 2014 in Odd News
Berlin - On Thursday, police said a coffee roasting company in Berlin received their shipment of beans from Brazil, but this time around a sack of cocaine was included.
Police said that an employee at the company said that they opened a container that was delivered to them and found a bag of 33 kilos of cocaine.
According to Telegraph, employees at the coffee company called the police, who seized the drug when they arrived at the scene. However, nobody is sure who the delivery was intended for, nor the reason why it was hidden in the coffee.
The shipment of beans first arrived in the port city of Bremerhaven before being driven to Berlin, where the coffee roasting company is located.
Police in Berlin are still looking into the incident and are trying to figure out who sent the drugs. They are also trying to find out why the narcotics weren't discovered until they arrived at the roasting company.
Meanwhile, a few weeks ago officials in Puerto Rico seized more than $10 million worth of cocaine. Police found the drug after they received an anonymous tip, which resulted in eight people getting arrested.
